Our Cinemasters will work together to compile some of their favorite nouns, verbs and adjectives to bring you some quality entertainment of the silver screen sort. Take one part fill in the blank, one part english 101 and one part 12 year old humor and what do you get? Just about the best time Ron and Adam can bring you. After drinking and knowing things, our heroes enjoy cutting loose and attempting some playful romps through a number of different movie themed Mad Libs. Hopefully their sophomoric sense of humor will tickle your funny bone and put a smile on that face. Cinemasters: 99 Cent Comedy Rentals

Welcome back movie goers. This is a Feature Presentation we’ve had in the can for a while now. It’s a whole new segment we’ve been waiting to unveil. From the mind of Ron Avis comes the 99 Cent Rentals. Having both worked in video stores, corporate and mom & pop style, Ron and Adam both understand how to help the wayward customer looking for something a little different than the new release standard fare. In these instances, patrons of the old brick and mortar movie rental establishments would rely on the clerks for a little extra movie knowledge to recommend a hidden gem or maybe dust off a classic. In this segment our Cinemasters will bring 3 comedies to the table that maybe you’ve seen and forgot about or maybe you’ve never even heard of them. Whatever the case is, we are happy to bring this new service to you, our proverbial customers. But to find out just what kinds of flicks our film fanatics are featuring, you’ll have to tune in to this latest episode of the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

This time around our Cinemasters have really thrown down the gauntlet with some heavy hitters in the way of classic comedy. Though as per usual, Adam has royally stuck it to Ron. But without giving away too much in this friendly little teaser, Ron has truly risen to the occasion and delivered an amazing line up. Not to scoff at what Adam has put forth this time around but Ron is really going to rock your socks off. Cinemasters State of the Union

I’d like to formally welcome everyone back to the new and improved, COVID-19 approved Cinemasters of the Universe! We had to take a break and retool our configuration to bring you the same great quality podcasting with a twist of social distancing, because we’re that kind of responsible. But now that we’ve done all that, washed our hands down to the bones and watched the world melt into oblivion, we figured it was time to talk about what everyone is REALLY worried about. WHATS HAPPENING WITH THE MOVIES?!?!

So this new episode is the boys speculating on the Cinematic State of the Union. We’re going to cover how the world has recused itself from theater attendance, since ya know, you CAN’T anymore. We’re also going to talk about how studios are migrating some films to later dates, pushing some out to digital platforms ahead of their previously scheduled ETA and where things are potentially going to go for the rest of 2020 and beyond. It's mostly conjecture with a dash of wit and and a whole lot of fun. It’s not all doom and gloom so come and chillax with your Cinemasters, in audio format only. Cinemasters: 20 Scenes from Movies Greatly Enhanced by Music

Welcome back Cinemaster-ites. As always we appreciate your continued investment in our musings on all things movies. This time around we have a real treat for you. We are in our 26^th episode which technically brings us to the most recent James Bond movie, “No Time To Die”. After this episode we will have eclipsed the entire franchise and will no longer have a catalog of films to compete with as we continue forward. It’s wild to think we’ve don’t this many episodes and we have many more ahead of us. It’s nice to take a moment to look back at where we’ve come from and how excellent it is to be where we are now. We’ve grown to a decent little following and are very appreciative to our listeners/watchers of all our fun, movie related wiles. We will continue to bring you the level of content we’ve been delivering and always try to improve as we go along. This episode was particularly fun to put together. Think of your favorite scenes in movies over the years. Now think of some of your favorite songs from over the years. Now imagine if those two things got together in the back of a Volkswagen and had a baby. Those kinds of scenes are what we are talking about this time around. Each of the Cinemasters picked out 10 amazing scenes in some of their favorite films that got turnt up to 11 because the music in those scenes elevated the entire moment to a whole new level. In addition to watching and reacting to these scenes in real time, the fellas will be putting out a Spotify playlist of all the songs for your listening pleasure outside of the podcast. Cinemasters: Breakfast at Tiffany's & Heat (What?? You haven't seen that??)

Hey there Cinemaster fans. We are back again with one of our signature Tasty Bites. In this Coming Attractions episode we are going to circle back to a couple of films that Ron and Adam missed seeing somewhere along the line. That’s why we call this segment “WHAAAT??? You haven’t seen that???” because typically that’s the response we get. Yes, we’ve seen a lot of movies but there are also still a LOT of movies out there. So we use this as a special place to slow down just a little, like we’re in a Welch’s jelly commercial, and smell the cinematic roses. This time around we will be covering a pretty broad spectrum as we go back to the early 1960’s for Adam’s pick and shoot forward to the mid 90’s for Ron’s. We will look at Audrey Hepburn’s most iconic role as Holly Golightly in the scintillating classic film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” as well as the high intensity of two film titans going head to head on the big screen in a matchup of De Niro v. Pacino in “Heat”. Will these selections from the film library of yester-year prove to be worth our Cinemasters effort or should these flicks have stayed frozen in time? Cinemasters: A Conversation About Erotic Thrillers (Remember Those??)

Saxophones, sweaty bodies and Michael Douglas! Got your attention? There haven't been a lot of new genres in Hollywood over the last several decades, so it's really interesting to see one as prevalent in the 80's and 90's as the Erotic Thriller go away. But they kind of did didn't they? White Machete returns to discuss what makes a thriller so...well, erotic. Let's have some fun playing 'Real or Fake' (Erotic Thriller Edition), try to explain what makes Michael Douglas, basically attracted (PUN) to the genre as well as dissect six of the all-time greatest erotic masterpieces (Body Heat, Poison Ivy, Basic Instinct, Sea of Love, Fatal Attraction, Wild Things). So without further ado, it's time to get the juices flowing.

Cinemasters: The Evolution of Kevin Smith

Ladies! Ladies! Ladies! (and Gentlement too) The Cinemasters are in the hizzzouse! That’s right movie fans, we are kicking off our dedication episode to Jay and his hetero life mate, Silent Bob, creator and legend amongst many, Kevin Smith! And in addition to an excess of the usual ear candy (I’ll refrain from comment on our video presence…) we provide we have gone longer and harder this time, fortunately not in an awkward place like the back of a Volkswagen. And as an added surprise we have our newest Cinemaster joining us again, Matt Mercer. It’s our personal homage to one of the greatest storytellers of a generation who has a loyal fan army of millions. It’s pretty much the only reason Tusk made ANY money.

We’re going back to the beginning with the movie that started it all, “Clerks”, and moving through the years of Kevin’s illustrious career from the briny shores of Leonardo, NJ all the way out to Critters of Hollywood in LA. These three Cinemasters have an overload of information from trivia to personal testimony and they’re going to tell it all with no need for a prompt from Walt Flanagan. You’ll get insight into all of Smith’s films from the favorites to, well, the flops. We all love Kevin but if given the chance to go back and do it all again, it might have been #WalrusNo. But that doesn’t stop these three Quick Stop faithfuls from celebrating a man who brought the world the joy of Jason Mewes, gave Jason Lee his start in motion pictures and put Ben Affleck on the map. Any way you slice this Egg-A-Mooby Muffin, the world is a better place with Kevin Smith.

Cinemasters: Gyparody (Kevin Smith Trivia)

Walt Flanagan’s Dog...come on down! Welcome back Cinemaster fans and first time callers. This tasty piece is far more satisfying than some Mall production of Truth or Date. This is a trivia contest devoted to the world of Kevin Smith aka Silent Bob. Ron Avis has lovingly crafted an amazing battle of the wits sure to challenge even the likes of Vincent Pereira, the official View Askew historían. However, this contest is not betwixt our usual Cinemasters, no. We have brought a new funployee into the fold and initiated him as an official Cinemaster.

 

Matt Mercer joins the ranks and he IS supposed to be here today. He and Adam will mentally standoff against each other to see who know the most about all things Jay and Silent Bob. There will be laughter and tears. Chewlies Gum and Mooby’s Cow Tippers. Stink palms and finger cuffs. Willam may even see the sailboat. Bring your friends, neighbors, heck grab your mother, even if she is a tracer. But heed the warning of the Metatron. In Kevin Smith fashion, the language in this installment is in TRUE Jersey style.
